This is so very important! Before stepping out into a career, a job, making a budget or even growing a little older… it’s important to plan your life.
When most teenagers hit 18, they are in a hurry to go out and live life! Without being prepared for the responsibility that comes with maintaining life. Financially, emotionally, and in many ways people go into life unprepared.
Some things you may consider even before you venture out on the dating scene.
Some may not apply to you right now but, it will give you an idea as to what to look out for in the future. I hope you find these tips and advice helpful. Remember, please, love does not hurt at any time in a relationship.
Love brings us closer to being a healthy happy person. You have to be your own person and happy in your own space, a man or a woman can not make each other happy! That’s not a fair deal, to expect someone you just met at the age of 18 or 40 you want this person to make you happy? What happened to the other years of your life? Why were you not happy? Well, go fix it before you involve someone ells in your unhappy life and expect them to fix it!
Getting yourself ready to date

• What physical features should he have
1. Weight (slim, fat, medium)
2. Hair (long, short, etc) hair colour
3. Eyes ( wear glasses, contacts) eye colour
4. Height (short, tall, medium)
5. Write down anything ells you can think of.
• What nationality.
• What Education
• What does he do for a living
1. Professional
2. Blue colour
3. unemployed
4. self employed
• Does he have a sense of humour ( is he able to Lough at his own mistakes)
• How does he speak about his family, mother & Father?
• How does he relate to your friends
• What is his relationship with money?
• Health- is he healthy or has an illness 9 can you deal with that)
• Honesty- does he lie or find lying amusing
• Criminal history – does he have a criminal history ( how will you deal with that)
• How does he treat his friends
• Is he willing to let you be yourself or do you have to change for him?
• Do you have to ask him to say that he loves you?
Never go into dating with a desperate attitude. You are setting yourself up for abuse! If you have not found the right man or woman yet, then pray about it but never date out of hurt or self pity! God knows about you and He will comfort you.
